This piece was created with a feel of old world rustic charm. I wanted the viewer to have a sense of curiosity and wonder at what was behind that door, keyhole and where is the key.
We can only use our imagination.
I have used quality acrylic paint and embellished with gold leaf. There is a cracking medium used to give the feel and look,of an old wooden door.
This is truly a lovely whimsical piece to add a bit of mystery to your wall .
All my pieces are coated in quality varnish to stand the test of time and this work lends itself to being framed as it has a thin edge.
