This large interior, painted in situ over five sessions in my bedroom, layers a sumptuous palette of reds and pinks with the textures of glass, faux fur, and satin. It sits within a custom frame of upcycled wood, punctuated by candy-red spray paint that echoes the plush pillows strewn across a monstera-patterned bedspread. Overhead, a suspended mosquito net introduces a dreamy note of escapism, recalling the intimacy of a harem-like space.
