Artwork Description

Another in my rocky outcrops series this one depicting life growing and surviving on the edge of existence. Inspired by my love of rock formations, colour and texture. This one has a little collage and a whole lot of acrylic paint love in shades of pink, green and rustic earthy colours of the land. See my other painting listed at the moment very similar to this one and they would look wonderful hanging side by side in a modern home.

Artist Bio

A passionate use of colour and texture is what you will first notice about the works of Julie Weston.
Painting intuitively in an abstract expressionist style, Julie ventures where her dreams and brushes take her using memories and vintage imagery as inspiration which leads to a deep immersion in paint, colour and soulful creativity.
Inspired by the rich colours and earthiness of textures from the Australian land and streetscapes, the patina from objects once loved and now discarded are major influences in her work.
Julie’s love of art making in many forms has always been the foundation and core of life.
