Artwork Description

This abstract acrylic work is inspired by a gathering of botanicals that are in the latter part of their life’s journey.
I think most would agree that they are just as beautiful and appealing, as they would be as a fresh gathering.
This artwork would be ideal for a small wall or nook, especially if accessorised with wood decorative pieces or other aged botanicals.

After majoring in painting as part of my primary teaching diploma, I initially painted in oils. Having had approx 30 years hiatus, I am excited to again put brush to canvas, now working in acrylics.

I am inspired by our natural environment and especially by all aspects of our botanical world.

Each artwork is a fulfilling, delightful experience and an opportunity to develop new skills and techniques.
