Artwork Description

In appreciation of our native botanicals : this was a fresh bouquet given to me by friends. I dried the bouquet, revealing more subtle shades and the sculptural forms of the flowers and foliage.

The soft colours and forms in this piece would add botanical interest to any room in a home, or to an office space.

After majoring in painting as part of my primary teaching diploma, I initially painted in oils. Having had approx 30 years hiatus, I am excited to again put brush to canvas, now working in acrylics.

I am inspired by our natural environment and especially by all aspects of our botanical world.

Each artwork is a fulfilling, delightful experience and an opportunity to develop new skills and techniques.
