Artwork Description

For this recent work, I was inspired not only by the fruit and foliage gathering, but especially by the rustic container and walls in the background.
I very much enjoyed recreating those effects in paint.

After majoring in painting as part of my primary teaching diploma, I initially painted in oils. Having had approx 30 years hiatus, I am excited to again put brush to canvas, now working in acrylics.

I am inspired by our natural environment and especially by all aspects of our botanical world.

Each artwork is a fulfilling, delightful experience and an opportunity to develop new skills and techniques.
