The inspiration for this artwork (3 of 3), is the visual and sensual enjoyment of a delicious food platter shared with family or friends. This work was inspired by a share platter of figs, heirloom tomatoes, red onion, crisp, leafy greens.
Organic in feel, it would be a perfect focal point in an entertaining/meals/dining nook or kitchen.

After majoring in painting as part of my primary teaching diploma, I initially painted in oils. Having had approx 30 years hiatus, I am excited to again put brush to canvas, now working in acrylics.

I am inspired by our natural environment and especially by all aspects of our botanical world.

Each artwork is a fulfilling, delightful experience and an opportunity to develop new skills and techniques.
