Rock Face 1

This abstract work is inspired by the rugged forms of a rock outcrop.
It is a celebration of our natural world - the sturdy rocks and the soft, but resilient forms of the plant life that inhabit the rock crevices.
It would be ideal to enhance a narrow wall space, a study nook, or as a standing piece on a bench/console, accompanied by indoor greenery.

After majoring in painting as part of my primary teaching diploma, I initially painted in oils. Having had approx 30 years hiatus, I am excited to again put brush to canvas, now working in acrylics.

I am inspired by our natural environment and especially by all aspects of our botanical world.

Each artwork is a fulfilling, delightful experience and an opportunity to develop new skills and techniques.
