Rainbow lorikeet on flowerin gum

This drawing is inspired from the lorikeets that visit my garden daily for the native trees and flowers , they particularly love the flowering gum, grevilleas and salvias. I took a photograph of this lorikeet last summer but they visit all year round. This is a freehand drawing, an original , no prints have been made of this artwork. The coloured pencils used are professional grade -Caran d'ache and Faber CastellPolychromas which have the highest lightfast rating. The drawing is on Carson Mi Teintes 160 gsm paper , acid free.
