Kalie’s keen interest in psychology sparked the idea for a comprehensive and thought-provoking body of work. She works in oil and paints traditional-style landscapes and clouds amongst the odd still life or portrait. Her work is predominantly a rebellion against the societal stigma around Mental Health. Driven by a connection between psychology and colour, her thoughtfully curated palettes and cloud formations explore curious feelings and states of being that are often not discussed.
