Artwork Description

Black Flower Top is an encaustic wax artwork that combines elegance and modernity. Its egg-shaped white base is crafted from encaustic wax, inviting viewers to appreciate its smooth and delicate texture. Intriguingly, black silk thread is scribbled within the wax, adding an unexpected element of visual interest. Resting atop the sculpture is a striking black encaustic wax flower, accentuating the artwork's monochromatic theme. At the heart of the flower lies a glass bead, which is delicately encased in silver wire. These wires extend gracefully upwards, culminating in small glass beads. With measurements of 15cm x 18cm, Black Flower Top is a compact yet impactful artwork that commands attention in any setting. This encaustic wax sculpture combines the timeless beauty of flowers with a contemporary twist, making it a stunning addition to any art collection or a unique focal point in your home.
