Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
"Bushflowers" was painted as a response to all the natural twigs, seedpods and flowers that I have collected on my daily walks. The painting also includes images of memories and impressions that stayed with me.
I kept the work visually light with fairly high tone colours, and the palette concentrates on pretty hues of pinks and greens.
There are a couple areas of graphite where I drew some line work into the wet oil surface. This linear work was then echoed with the white paint drawings of the bottle tree pods.
The painting is sent unframed but is finished with painted sides.
