"Bushflowers at Dusk" is a painting from my Bushflower series, where collected native floral ephemera are the subject matter.
I paint directly from life and use the many collected bits of botanica that I have drying in my studio. This painting features banksia, paper daisies, rice flowers, grevilleas, and eucalyptus blossoms. The subject is set against a rich painterly background signifying the end of day.
The image is extended over the sides and the work is sent ready to hang.
