"Grevilleas" is an oil painting celebrating the gorgeous grevillea flower.
The painting is very linear in its application of paint, and this is a response to the very linear shapes of the flowers and foliage.
There is not a direct single focus in this painting, but more a snap shot of flowers and leaves with hints of shadows and background colours that I saw in my garden where the grevillea tree grows.
The sides of the work are painted, and the painting is ready to hang.
