Artwork Description

This little guy was found on the main road into Boonah where his Mum and Dad had been struck by a vehicle and killed. My husband and I bundled him into a towel and I cradled him all the way to Wacol RSPCA which also has a Wildlife rescue facility. On the way, his little nose kept poking out and if his eye's could have spoken, it would have been "what the hell just happened!?"
I often wonder where his is now. I do hope he is happily munching grass out in the wild, somewhere away from major roads.
All the proceeds I receive for this sale will be donated to RSPCA to help them continue all the wonderful work they do.

Artist Bio

I love nature and our beautiful world and hope to share, via my paintings, some more remote vistas with anyone else who appreciates the bush, beach and far away places.

Born and bred in Brisbane, I have also lived in London, Sydney and Melbourne. Whenever I am away, I feel the pull of my beloved homeland and am always grateful to be living in such a wonderful country!

Being a keen traveller, I have collected many images in my head and camera from all over the world. These provide me with an almost unlimited supply of inspiration with which to create my oil paintings. Painting these images is a wonderful opportunity to re-live my life experiences.

When I’m not painting, I run a small group which helps to promote Brisbane’s Emerging Artists and their art.
