I have always been in awe of trees that seem to be able to survive and grow whilst rooted into rock seemingly without earth or nourishment. In this painting, I attempted to capture the spirit of tenacity and perseverance and being able to overcome obstacles and push through adversity. "Tenacity" is a visual representation of the strength and determination that we all have within us, waiting to be unleashed.
