This is one of a series of small mixed media works exploring line, shape and colour and how they dance together. The series is titled "Near Horizons". They are executed on drawing paper, mounted on deep sided cradled board, sealed and ready to hang.
Award winning artist Karen runs a busy arts practice from her hand-sculpted cob studio/gallery at Yankalilla South Australia where she alternates between portraiture, abstract painting and fibre arts. A passion for colour and for experimenting with materials and techniques informs her practice. Her work features in private collections in both Australia and Europe.
