I have been painting for 18 years creating seascapes and landscapes. I learnt to paint in NZ whilst living there in 2006. I like to use marking making and layers to create the composition, this adds texture and interest. My artworks are created intuitively so it leaves the viewer to imagine where the place could be. I live on the Northern Beaches and heavily influenced by my surroundings whether it's the bush reserves or the beaches. I love creating light and movement in my artworks, depending on where the artwork is positioned in a home, it takes on different moods throughout the day and night.
