This painting comes from a series called HEAVENLY HYDRANGEAS - the story behind them is about our life journeyOne of the rollercoaster ride that we go on emotionallyphysically and spiritually.
Each chapter of our lives are profound and usually also one of enormous self reflection and growth. The painting were created mainly by hand.
Hydrangeas appear so strong and bold, almost like they are all vying for our attention and this was the thinking behind Unity.

Karen Jaques is a Grief Counselor, a path she followed after experiencing many losses and challenges in her own life. Her passion for life drives her to be bold, brave and courageous believing that adversity can become a path that links us back to our authentic selves, and strengthen our capacity to get us through. That passion for life comes through in Karen’s approach to her creative work as she seizes the moment and expresses with hands rather than brushes. She captures the lightness of life often balanced with the dark in bright and bold compositions that serve to remind us that nature and our surrounds will always ground us spiritually, and emotionally if we are open.
