Inspired by the Dreamtime story ' How the birds got their colours' told by Mary Albert tells the story of when all birds were black and how one day a bird landed on a stick that injured it's foot and made it swell. All the birds came to help except the crow. the birds took care of him until the swelling broke releasing colour into the world. I love Dreamtime stories ,beautiful tales layered with moral teachings that children love.
