'Yanhagagi' meaning A Walk in Wiradjuri language. We have all walked together ,maybe at different times but our footsteps and the footsteps of those before have left their remnants in one way or another. It is important to me to use my art to share not only a beautiful culture but to use it in a way to connect us together. It is easy to point out the differences between each other and I wanted to choose a title that represents something we all share. We all walk ,moving across our landscapes, leaving a little of ourselves as we do.
This artwork has been created using a vivid palette of magenta, teal,yellow,orange and a rich purple outlined in titanium white.

Memory,traces and remnants,threads that lay in our Landscapes and the spaces we occupy. I have an intent interest in the connections between memory and environments. A footprint,an area of flattened grass,a scratch or marking are examples of traces or something left or buried a remnant that holds memory of what has been before. In some form we all leave a part of us as we move around. I have recently experimented with metallic paint and I love them .
