I grew up in The northern suburbs of Melbourne and left for a life on the Sunshine Coast in 1998 . We have now lived in This beautiful subtropical environment for more than 20 years and it is this love of nature and outdoor living that influences my artwork.
In Melbourne I completed a BSc in biology and health Science as well as a certificate in Interior Design at RMIT.
I attended painting classes in the 80s with Helen Brack who inspired me with her knowledge and taught me the principals of painting and the instilled in me the idea that the amount of time you spend with brush in hand determines your skill.
