From on top of the hill

From high up on the hill is a landscape painting . Inspired by the wonderous colours, textures and shapes found in nature. I hope to offer a window to the viewer to take in the vast landscape and to connect with the diversity and beauty of the land, the hills, the sky, the water, the trees.

I am a contemporary artist, painting on canvas with acrylic paint and sometimes mixed media. My work portrays nature, sea and land scapes, in an abstracted form. Imagery conveys not only the subject matter, but elements of texture, depth, energy and movement to connect with the viewer. I am inspired by the many wonders of the natural environment, by the rich experiences gained whilst travelling, and by a vivid imagination.
