This artwork uses rich coloured acrylic paint in turquoise, midnight blue and dusty pink and white. There are also the smallest touchers of burnt orange. The bottom third in midnight blue has a mottled surface texture reminiscent of foaming water, but only visible when the light hits the surface of the canvas. The borders between the coloured panels are thinned and create free forming shapes and layers in the same way water colours can be represented. The middle panel of colour is a vivid turquoise green (the photos don't do it justice). The top third is steaky blush pink and white with textured horizontal ridges in places. The painting has a gloss varnish surface and is framed in a simple wooden frame which has been painted in a dusty pink wash.
