I am a Brisbane oil painter and portrait photographer. I have painted mainly when not working full time but am now able to paint daily, after a brain aneurysm rupture in 2022. Two brain surgeries later and I am recovering and living a painters dream while raising my children. I love to immerse myself in nature whenever I get the opportunity and never stop learning about the natural world and art. I love making art and also immensely appreciate other peoples art. Living in a country such as Australia, is a true gift and I try not to take it for granted. Painting often takes me to a meditative state that I can’t reach with meditation, and when it happens, it is like walking on air. Sounds very corny but I don’t know how else to describe it. I live and breath art and I couldn’t imagine having it any other way,
