Watercolour on paper
Signed certificate of authenticity.
I painted this in 2017, while visiting our daughter in Berlin. I had a wonderful large room, with a big desk, and there was a fantastic art store nearby, so , of course I had to buy some paints and paper, etc, and set up a lovely temporary studio. In order to test out my new VanGough watercolour paints and new brush and paper, I painted these cats. It was just for fun, really, but I quite liked this free and spontaneous style. By the way, I prefer to sell my watercolours unframed, because choosing a frame is very personal, and the person who chooses a painting might want to pick out their own frame according to their own taste. Also, I am way to nervous about sending a framed painting , having seen what broken glass can do to a painting.
