Artwork Description

I have been painting colourful ,Abstract cats for many years, now, and I find it more inspiring than painting realistic cats. I love inventing and interpreting a subject, and will continue to paint cats for as long as people keep buying them. Many of my paintings end up as designs on products. I have several online shops where my artwork can also be found on scarves, leggings, jigsaw puzzles, and many other products. Inspiration comes from the great diversity of art and styles, but some of my favourites are Picasso , Laurel Burch, Paul Klee, who use the full spectrum of colour as well as abstract shape and design. This painting has many layers, and therefore, has an uneven texture, and imperfections, which are the result of the techniques I use. The artwork has a glossy varnish, and painted edges. It doesn’t require framing. The edges are painted in a teal blue, but can be painted black, but this must be requested.
