This painting has so many layers, that there is a lot of texture from a previous painting, which I decided to rework. I just finished this today, it has taken a long time, and today was finally the day when I felt ready to finish it. At the moment I love it, and could not wait to post it on Bluethumb. It has neatly painted black edges, and a glossy varnish. It is ready to hang. Influences, Picasso and Paul Klee, Naive art, and childhood memories. Mermaids and Fishes are two of my favourite subjects, going way back to the story of the Little Mermaid, and Jaque Coustau , and his diving documentaries. Edges are painted black and the painting has a glossy varnish. Framing is optional, and is now available through Bluethumb at an extra cost.
