Artwork Description

This lovely painting has taken me such a long time to complete. There were a lot of times I got stuck and didn’t know what to do next. I finally got the balance right , which was quite a challenge. I really love it a lot, and I’m so tempted to keep it. ( I have three delightful grandchildren), and obviously this painting was painted for me, meaning I love the rainbow colours, the fact I invented it, and had fun with no rules. Influences and inspiration is all around me, and I adore the art of Picasso, Laurel Burch as well as naive artists such as Henry Rousseau. I love the surrealist and cubism. Ive had 6 decades of exploring , experimenting and practicing my craft, and now my main motivation is to be true to myself and create beautiful and authentic art. Edges are painted black and it will be ready to hang. Framing is optional.
