Artwork Description

CHAOS THEORY INTERPRETATION
Change doesn't always destroy what was there. Sometimes it transforms it into something entirely new.
THE PHENOMENON
Serpentine forms when ultramafic rock reacts with water, transforming its minerals and often producing distinctive green colouring, dark veining and a layered, textured surface.

Artist Bio

Some people paint landscapes. I paint what’s underneath.

Based in the Wheatbelt, WA, I create geological artwork inspired by strata, mineral formations, tectonic movement and pressure.

The paint changed. The chaos remained.
