Artwork Description

I hope to capture the spirit of the Australian landscape and share my experience of the natural world through my artwork. I believe that while spending time in nature, we become aware of our own small place in the world, bringing a little perspective into our lives.

Riverbend, is a peaceful painting of a forested river. The scene is viewed through silhouetted trees across still water to the distant riverbank. With its cool palette of deep blues and whites, this painting reflects the serenity of this quiet area.

From a series of landscape paintings that focuses on the forests, lakes, and estuaries of northern New South Wales’ coastal national parks, inspired by the Japanese practice of “forest bathing”. This series invites viewers into a slow, sensory experience of reconnection with nature.
