Artwork Description

WA evenings are glorious… I'm often drawn to the shoreline to capture the exquisite spectacle of the setting sun over the Indian Ocean. As daylight says goodnight, the sky transforms into a breathtaking canvas of intense hues, while the vast ocean seems to cradle untold mysteries in its shimmering depths.

Artist Bio

As an artist with a rich history of living and traveling across four different countries, I have been fortunate to call numerous vibrant cities near the water my home. It's this deep connection with the ever-changing beauty of nature, particularly water, that has consistently fueled my artistic journey. Growing up in a family deeply entrenched in various art forms, including painting and photography, I was immersed in a world of creativity from an early age.

Drawing upon this artistic heritage, I have continued my craft using primarily watercolors and inks, consistently pushing the boundaries of what should be the correct style and technique to what could be a different technique or style . I find my muse in vibrant colors and enjoy infusing my work with feminine elements like delicate flowers. Moreover, my passion lies in capturing the enchanting interplay of light, which has the power to transform the colors of water, trees, clouds, and the expansive sky.

My educational background encompasses fine arts, design, and graphic design, contributing to the multifaceted artist that I am today. Through my work, I aim to encapsulate the diverse beauty of our natural world, drawing inspiration from both my history and my unyielding connection to the water.
