I was born in Krakow, Poland, to parents who were both well known artists. Surrounded by paintings, sculptures and art books since I was a child, I developed a genuine passion for art.
Having completed my tertiary studies at the Jagiellonian University in my home town of Krakow, I embarked on my full time art exploratory voyage. As my father's apprentice I co-operated in the reconstruction and restoration of ancient paintings for several Polish Museums and Churches.
I also learnt the fresco technique and assisted my father, Zdzislaw, in executing several polychromatic compositions. My stained glass paintings can be found in the St Salvator church in Krakow.
I supplied several oil paintings for the Fundation for the Restoration of the "Royal Castle of Wawel"and painted portraits for several other museums .
Over the years I have come to a close and most often very personal contact with different types of art. I studied old masters, their techniques and objectives. I examined and tried to personalise many modern artistic philosophies and theories. I worked very hard to merge my knowledge and experience into pieces that represent my creative exploration and beliefs and define me as an artist. I have had the opportunity to express my way of comprehending and interpreting my emotions and reality that surrounds me in many different media which helps me to find the most satisfactory and pleasing result.
I exhibited a number of times in my home town of Krakow and participated in numerous local and international exhibitions. My work sold in the USA, UK, GERMANY, ITALY, PORTUGAL and GREECE.
In 1999 I immigrated to Australia where I've been living with my husband, Cyril. In my new home town of Maryborough, I've designed and had my "BROLGA" sculpture created in stainless steel and installed in front of the then recently built "BROLGA THEATRE ".
I participated in a number of Queensland Exhibitions, winning prizes in oil painting and drawing categories. I carried out workshops in mosaics and cement fondu sculpting.
