These days we are left with our thoughts a lot, especially having to isolate ourselves from the world, more often then not. What are the thoughts you are thinking, are they positive? Negative? Are your thoughts filled with what the future holds and then anxiety sets in? Well I’m here to tell you that this isn’t the path to take. Stay on the positive path and take a deep breath of fresh air and enjoy your surroundings. Enjoy the people and living beings around you. If you are alone, that’s ok! Think about what you can do to improve your mood and live a better life. This pairing is all about positivity.

Artist Bio

Kat is a self taught mixed media artist who resides in Currumbin Valley, Australia. She works with all types of media, with her favourites being acrylic and collage. Throwing in some unusual material into her work to add texture and layers and mood to express emotions and depth. Her work is spawns from her passion within to constantly create and the therapy it provides for her in her busy life with 4 young kids. Kat is influenced by her children and her life experiences, bringing to life a lot of raw emotions on paper. Most of her work is based around beautiful and strong women with influences in the lowbrow/pop surreal as well as the fantasy genres. She finds Persian miniatures very fascinating a lot of her work has been inspired by the ancient miniature paintings originating from India, Egypt and Persia.
