This Hyper realistic drawing is the fourth of a series of drawings based on the idea of ‘looks good enough to eat’.
Styled and photographed to demonstrate the movement of behaviour of foil when crumpled and creased. The chocolate bitten and peeking out of the foil offers a contrast of light and dark.
One of my most memorable birthday gifts was when I received a Haigh’s gold foil chocolate frog for my 14th birthday from a dear friend. It was the first time that I had truly appreciated Haigh’s chocolate. The large Haigh’s chocolate frog has long been a favourite birthday gift to give and receive. It will forever be reminder to me of friendship, love and the joy of gift giving.
On 300 GSM archival quality paper (A2 size) using Faber Castell polychromos pencils.
