There’s a meditative intensity in the composition: a singular form endlessly folding in on itself, reminiscent of both the body and a cosmic aperture. Whether seen as an abstract portal, a burning seed, or a pure gesture of movement, the work holds space for introspection and primal emotion.

I love colour. I love how colour looks next to other colours, how something vibrant in one area can blend in another. I love seeing combinations that come together. Working in oils allows me to linger with these changes, to build and glaze until something unexpected emerges.

Painting is my way of quieting a busy mind.I am always keen to discover something new, something unexpected. I want to feel my usually noisy mind become more quiet, as I feel towards what I'm painting. I never really know where I'm going, and that's my favourite part.
