Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This piece used to be simple, bright and light. Sometimes the painting you’re trying to paint (clue #1 that you’re not in the right place) changes partway through.
I had lost that inner vision of vibrant green of new leaves and somehow transitioned over into washed out winter and gorgeous crackly branches of dried gum leaves (that I can’t help but collect) and bare bark and pink sunsets.
This painting evolved into something much more than its start.
