Costa Brava

Inspired by the morning glow on a trip to Spain - the boat was floating in the shallows and it was such a beautiful shape, its shadow clearly visible in the clear water. I wanted to convey the peace of the moment but also the wonder and mystery, The boat is the only recognisable element in soft abstract layers hinting at the environment.

Sydney based, I am inspired by the Australian landscape; from the sea to the country. I draw and paint what I see in front of me, as well as diving into my emotions and imagination in my intuitive abstract works. I have studied art for most of my life and am continually experimenting; I am currently concentrating on abstract works, figurative expressionist works, and softer more fluid watercolours.
