Artwork Description

In this dreamlike seascape, reminiscent of the Bondi on a stormy day merged with harbour coves, the focus is on the dramatic sky and water; how the colours change with the light and how they affect our mood. The small boat in the lower is a symbol of solitude and contemplation, with a sense of mystery and wonder - what is possible beyond the horizon. There is a touch of sunlit bronze on the foreground rocks.

I draw and paint what I see in front of me, as well as diving into my emotions and imagination in my intuitive abstract works. I have studied art for most of my life and am continually experimenting; I am currently concentrating on abstract works, figurative expressionist works, and softer more fluid watercolours.
