Solitude II

A small artwork with fluid, expressive brush stokes showing a figure in a yacht coming away from dark skies and into the light. The mood is calm and hopeful. Intended as part of a diptych/pair of artworks to be hung together, however it looks equally good on it's own. Would suit in a small space in a hallway, study or bathroom. Comes framed in oak.

Sydney based, I am inspired by the Australian landscape; from the sea to the country. I draw and paint what I see in front of me, as well as diving into my emotions and imagination in my intuitive abstract works. I have studied art for most of my life and am continually experimenting; I am currently concentrating on abstract works, figurative expressionist works, and softer more fluid watercolours.
