The ancestors after painting the colour palate with them on this piece relayed the message 'water woman/women', with the emphasis of women being the bearers of water, the bearers of life itself as they are the ones who carry the seed of life and facilitate its cycle.

This piece is represented and attributed to that strong feminine spirit, the Indigenous Female Water Spirit 'Yawkyawk'.

Depicted with her central heart center which radiates to her sacred womb, her connection to the elements of the land and sky and ancestors with her through her pregnancy, she carries the spirit of YAWKYAWK with her on her journey into motherhood and birthing the next generation of strong women.
