An amateur and prolific artist trying to avoid extending my home in order to accommodate my work.
I began painting after having my children and only lasted a couple of years due to the incredible loneliness I felt trying to create art in the hustle and bustle of a city life.
Once I retired and was able to escape the pressures of suburbia by moving north from Sydney, I was able to find like minded folk and that has turned that loneliness around.
Receiving support and constructive criticism from fellow artists has given me confidence as well as bringing out a passion I always suspected was there.
