Artwork Description

I poured raw energy and fierce joy into this piece, blending realism with vibrant pop-art to capture a rebellious spirit. Using acrylic, oil, and spray, I aimed to ignite the wild confidence that bursts through every brushstroke. This painting radiates boldness and fearless self-expression, perfect to electrify your space with uncontainable power and attitude.

Portrait of fellow local Adelaide girl Rhea Ripley

Artist Bio

Creating her whole life and armed with a degree in Costume Design from Wimbledon School of Art, London, Kate starting to focus on painting more during the great lockdown 2020. Finding herself home alone, painting allowed an expressive and creative outlet that helped fill the void of isolation from the world. She quickly discovered a passion for painting, and specifically figurative and portraiture works, focusing on bright bold colour use and strong brush work. Her works take inspiration from the Pop Art, WPAP & Impressionistic movements, experimenting with conveying identity, character, emotion and thoughts.
