Following my graduation from Latvia with a Master of Fine Arts and an Erasmus exchange program in Berlin, I moved on to teach textile arts at the Latvian Academy of Arts.

In 2014, I moved to Australia to start over and embrace new challenges. I constantly experiment with new techniques in my artwork to push boundaries and explore fresh perspectives. I'm now returning to my roots and focusing on textiles once more, rediscovering traditional methods while integrating contemporary influences into my creative practice.
