Summertime #2

Enjoying a summer’s day at the beach, I was watching this group having fun on the pontoon in Horseshoe Bay, Port Elliot on our Fleurieu Coast. I felt inspired to capture some of their joy. This painting will bring the summer holiday vibe into your home! This is a pair with “Summertime #1”, also available.
Painted in professional Matisse acrylic paints and finished with satin varnish to protect from dust and UV rays.
Comes framed in a lovely natural “beachy” floater frame or can be easily removed to varnish, stain or paint by buyer.

Hi there! I have always been drawn to the ocean and love living on the beautiful Fleurieu Coast in South Australia. I attended Splashout Art School in Adelaide and continue to attend various classes and workshops both locally and interstate. I exhibit regularly in art exhibitions, galleries and cafes in Adelaide and on the south coast.
My loves are colour and texture, and I enjoy working in both acrylics and oils. I particularly like using thick paint, palette knives and experimenting with different colour tones. I paint in response to the vibrant natural environment and hope to inspire feelings of bright and lively optimism through my work.
