Artwork Description

This linoprint features some of my favourite flowers - dahlias! It has been printed in black ink and then handcoloured using watercolour creating this unique, one-off piece!

The artwork is signed and editioned and a white border has been left around the edges for framing.

***Please note: I do have a frame prepared for this artwork, so please ask if you would like to see it. :)

Artist Bio

I am an artist, illustrator and designer inspired by nature and whimsy and intrigued by my own invented worlds.

I was born in the Blue Mountains, NSW, a place full of magnificent beauty, flora and fauna. Growing up in such a beautiful place has impacted on who I am today and on the artwork that I create.

I have always been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. When I was twelve my parents moved to England for a two year posting. It was there that my brother (also an artist) first gave me a set of Windsor and Newton watercolours and some fabulous brushes, one of which I still have and use today.

I am lucky enough to have a family that has supported me and encouraged my talent. Although I initially started a career in teaching, in 2013 I was awarded a Bachelor of Creative Arts with Distinction from the University of Southern Queensland. I majored in Visual Arts but also in Marketing as I have a keen passion for arts business. I then completed a Certificate IV in Graphic Design to complement and extend my studies.

I was thrilled to recently be awarded the Golden Key International Honour Society award for Visual and Performing Arts (Painting). I have illustrated seven published children's books, and have completed an illustrated stamp commission for Australia Post.
