I loved using watercolour on glass to monoprint some shapes around the Wren relief prints. I frequently see and hear the wrens in the bushland surrounding the cove. I chose local acacia and oleria as my smaller flora details. Dip pen, monoprinting and masking fluid were the techniques I used to illustrate those flora. The banksia cone and flowers were milk carton etchings hand printed with a spoon. The reverse landscape of Eagles Nest was a monoprint darkened with ink.
Pencil and masking fluid became raindrops. The colours convey storm clouds, ocean, plantlife and patches of blue sky.
