Pinot Noir Bottles
With Autumn comes the grape harvest on my farm. We've planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes and every year we bottle our own wine. It's a family event with all hands on deck to pick the grapes, crush and ferment the juice in French oak barrels.
This painting is of last year's wine on the cellar shelf. It was painted with thick, buttery oil paint. Individual brush strokes can be seen on the paint. I believe the energy of the artist is imbued within the artwork, this painting is filled with happy memory's of the grape harvest.
