I love indoor plants. Nurturing plants and watching them grow is one of the most underrated activities. This leaf is from my Maranta Leuconeura or Prayer Plant that sits in an old Amber Apothecary Jar that sits on my studio window. These beautiful tropical plants fold their leaves up at night, as if in prayer.

I love to watch my Prayer Plant cutting slowly grow roots and become it's own plant. This painting flowed really well on the canvas.
