Artist Bio

My journey to artist began with my childhood obsession of creating drawings, paintings, gift cards and anything I could, and operating a little “shop” to (very persistently) sell to family and friends! Now, my life revolves around art, ecommerce and interior design – having worked in the ecommerce space for many years and having recently studied Interior Decoration. All 3 passions combined have brought my imaginative little “shop” to life.

I now paint in oils and focus primarily on skies and cloudscapes, being fascinated with the expanse and everchanging view every time you look up. Vibrant, bold colour is what inspires me most and I aim to emphasise this throughout my paintings. I love to push the boundaries of a realistic scene into something more dreamlike or surreal, to create a sense of escapism from the everyday.

Recently I was named a Finalist in the 2023 Bluethumb Art Prize and 2024 Art to Art Unearthed Prize among many other established and emerging artists, and had my artworks displayed in both exhibitions. I have continued to exhibit in the Bluethumb Melbourne Gallery throughout 2024 and my artworks have continued to find homes with many colour-loving Maximalists throughout Australia.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know the artist behind the art!
